WELLESLEY, Mass. – The New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2012 Cross Country Coaches of the Year and Sportsmanship Award recipients on Thursday, following the conference championship meet on Saturday. MIT head coach Halston Taylor was voted as the women’s Coach of the Year while Bryan Brown of Springfield College was tabbed on the men’s side. The Coast Guard Academy men and Wellesley College women received the NEWMAC Sportsmanship awards.
