BABSON PARK, Mass. – The New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its 2013 Track & Field Coach of the Year and Sportsmanship Award recipients on Tuesday, following the conclusion of the conference championship over the weekend. WPI head coach, Brian Chabot, was named the Men’s Coach of the Year for the second time after helping lead his Engineers to a second-place finish. Wheaton’s Dave Cusano received Coach of the Year honors on the women’s side. The second-year coach helped guide the Lyons to a runner-up showing at the NEWMAC championship. The Coast Guard Academy men and Wellesley College women earned the league’s Sportsmanship Awards.
