BOSTON, Mass. MIT women s cross country junior Elaine McVay (San Ramon, Calif.) was named the New England Women s and Men s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Runner of the Week following her second place finish at the Purple Valley Classic this past weekend. Since the beginning of the 2013 season three weeks ago, the Engineers have been ranked third in the nation and first in New England.
