Impressive Crop of NEWMAC Woman of the Year Nominees for 2014Published by
BOSTON, Mass. Seven outgoing senior New England Women s and Men s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) student-athletes have been nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award, all of whom boast outstanding athletic, academic and extracurricular accomplishments during their intercollegiate careers. Those nominees are Talia Fish (Philadelphia, Pa.) from Clark University, Christy Rogers (Bend, Ore.) from MIT, Kristina Weld (Warwick, Mass.) of Mount Holyoke College, Rosa Drummond (Rye, N.H.) of Smith College, Tessa Smolinski (Hebron, Conn.) from Springfield College, Leslie Leong (Sacramento, Calif.) of Wellesley College and Ashante Little (Seabrook, N.H.) from Wheaton College.
